Theatre Resource

Theatre Resource is a dynamic and forward-looking professional arts organisation, specialising in the area of disability arts and social inclusion. The company has 14 members of staff and promotes long-term involvement in the arts through:

• Professional arts products (e.g. theatre performances, exhibitions, publications, etc.)
• Participatory arts projects
• CPD (Continuing Professional Development), training and employment opportunities
• Dissemination and networking initiatives

Its strategic programme of outreach and centre-based projects brings together artists, arts organisations, community groups, social care providers and a wide range of funding bodies.

Theatre Resource manages a large, multi-purpose arts education centre in Chipping Ongar, Essex.

Screen East

Screen East is the screen agency for the East of England. We are dedicated to developing, supporting and promoting a thriving and successful film and media industry and culture in the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. We do this through the activities of our Locations, Production, Enterprise and Skills, and Audiences and Education departments.

Screen East is funded by the UK Film Council and by the East of England Development Agency (EEDA). We allocate Lottery funding on behalf of the UK Film Council through the Regional Investment Fund for England (RIFE). We are particularly interested in the areas of Talent and Content Development, Enterprise and Skills and Audience Development and can offer investment funding for company development, script and project development, exhibition and archives.

Screen East:
• Promotes the East of England as the ideal location for film and television production and attracts inward investment by marketing the locations, facilities, skills and expertise available in the region
• Develops the talent, skills and innovation of the region’s new and existing workforce
• Invests in the development of film, television and digital media businesses based in the East of England
• Creates opportunities for audiences in the East of England to enjoy and experience moving image culture and heritage
• Celebrates the diversity of the people who live and work in the region in order to break down barriers to working in the media industries
• Informs and acts as an advocate for the sector’s growing significance to the regional and national economy
