How you can get involved
CIBIP is open to any creative industries business (freelancer, sole-trader, partnership, co-operative or limited company) working within the following areas:
Film, broadcasting, TV, computer games, digital media / web design, photography, advertising, publishing, visual and performing arts, graphic / interior / product / fashion design, music, crafts and literary arts.
CIBIP supports businesses representing all areas of the creative industries.
"[CIBIP] has built my confidence and helped my professional development, it has been very interesting and worthwhile"
Fran Wilde / visual artist
Please note that the funding for this project is targeted at groups who are currently underrepresented in the workplace, so we particularly welcome involvement from disabled people, people from ethnic minorities and those aged 50+.
CIBIP is not designed to assist with the start-up of new businesses, and can therefore not provide funding for a business plan. But it can help by pointing you towards advice and guidance and/or training on putting a business plan together.
"...all this has transformed my career, it has been a tremendous, life-changing experience..."
Toby Norways / script writer
